About the Mastermind Group of Educators

Kathy Cothran is the voice behind "The Original Gadget Girl" who is the host of the Mastermind Group of Educators. Her vast teaching experience spans early childhood education through Master's level classes at the university level. Kathy leads a very busy life and recognizes the needs of educators to find information and activities that are ready for use in the classroom. Besides teaching full time, Kathy is also a single mom of two girls, and the author of seven books.

The Mastermind Group of Educators is a resource for helping educators gather quality ideas, share techniques that work, and learn new and interesting ways to use technology in the classroom. Let us work together to harness the enthusiasm kids have for their gadgets and toys, and turn those into learning tools!

"I have looked at your activity books and my mind is spinning with new ideas. You have some very valuable and wonderful information in each book. I can't wait to get started with my students. Thank you so much for taking the time to put these together for educators like myself. My kids are going to love me for a long time to come. Thanks again"

"Lacking the energy to create my own, I turned to the internet, and came across your wonderful web site, full of everything needed for an instant Halloween day at school. We are in the process of using the activities right now, and I must tell you, I am thrilled!! Everything is PERFECT and the kids are having a ball. Thank you so very much for your creativity and your insight. Keep up the great work you are doing for teachers and kids. "

"I absolutely love your ideas because it's exactly what I want to teach but simply don't have the time to prepare the lessons. Thanks again. I plan to share your website at my next teacher's meeting. "

"I am overwhelmed as a 4th grade teacher and am still at school at 9:30 tonight! Decided to work late...usually it's not that late. Looking forward to more great stuff from you!.
